Our most recent endeavor- New ductwork throughout the house. Along with a few other things.
But first, I would like to show you what my fiancé looks like almost 24/7 these days. His motivation to make this our dream house is amazing. What a catch, that Jeremy. It's almost exactly a year until our wedding date. There's lots of exciting things happening in these next few months, and it just about makes my head spin. Living in this house together is the end goal, and will be the best wedding gift :) We remind each other of this on the days that renovating a 130 year old house in Detroit isn't all rainbows and Pomeranian puppies. (However, most days are rainbows and pom puppies on cloud9 for me). * Okay I'm done with mushy stuff.
Back to business...
Here are the pretty little floor vents
More plaster removal
Today the person who is going to install the glass blocks in our walk-in shower, closet window, and attic windows came over. Quoted $850 for all four windows. I don't know anything about glass block window pricing, so I guess that's cool. Also cool and interesting- we discover that the closet in our living room has a huge window.
Holes in the floor
These are spots where old floor vents were, but won't be anymore. So until we put new floors in- watch your step!
Thanks for checking back!
That's all I have for you now. There are lots of fun things in store for you to read about in the near future. I currently have a trip planned for Ikea this week to buy a sink for the downstairs bathroom. Things are happening!
